Synopsis: In February 1952, one of the worst storms ever known the east side hit New England, damaging two oil off the coast of Cape Cod to literally cut in half. Listening only to their courage, have a small lifeboat which pales facing freezing temperatures and waves over 20 meters high, four coastguard undertake to save the thirty sailors trapped aboard ships in distres .

The Finest Hours tells the story of their heroic mission, a mission still considered to this day as the greatest rescue rickety boat in the history of the United States Coast Guard.
