Josh Brolin stars alongside George Clooney in the new Coen film "Hail Caesar."

The Coens not open the Berlinale, however, for the first time. In 2011, she showed true grit to kick off the festival. Hail, Caesar! Starts on 18th February, shortly after the premiere, regularly in the German cinemas.

The Berlinale 2016 will take place from 11 to 21 February. The new film by Joel and Ethan Coen, "Hail Caesar", gets high-caliber additions: How Variety reports is Josh Brolin ("No Country for Old Men") play at the already set George Clooney page.

George Clooney and from Variety freshly confirmed Josh Brolin each has collaborated several times with the Coen brothers: Brolin  excelled already in the thriller-drama "No Country for Old Men" and the Western "True Grit." Clooney, of which for a while now it is known that he in "Hail Caesar will be" here, has appeared in "O Brother Where Art Thou," "An impossible hardship" and in "Burn After Reading". It is the first time that Clooney and Brolin were jointly committed one feature film - that precisely in a film directed by Ethan and Joel Coen happened, sounds promising.

"Hail Caesar" is about the private detective Eddie Mannix, who as in the 1950s so-called "fixer" in the Hollywood studios operates. Such "Fixer" are people who have the treasures of the studios - protect and maintain their flawless images, e.g., by assistance in private life - the Stars. It will be interesting, whether Brolin or Clooney assume the role of "Fixers." Could be filmed both on the current state of camera Legend Roger Deakins. Josh Brolin has some projects pending, including "Sicario" by director Denis Villeneuve ("Prisoners"). In Marvel film "Guardians of the Galaxy" (it. Theatrical release on August 28, 2014), he also plays the villain Thanos - and in "Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For" the role of Dwight. The stylish gangster ballad starts on September 18, 2014, with us, here's a trailer:
